Anyone know the difference btw. Time Trial/Tri bikes and regular road bikes?

I was wondering... since TT/Tri bikes are all aero-shaped and everything why more people aren't riding them for regular road riding? What's the big difference? Is it only the frame/ergenomics, or is it that you have to ride in a different position? I'm puzzled...

A TT bike is set up for you to ride in only one position as fast as possible. No good for climbing, descending, jumping potholes etc etc.

Ever tried to grab a musette on a time trial bike?? :D

some (most?) time trial bikes have a slightly longer wheelbase, steeper seat tube, and slightly heavier, more stable steering due to a shallower head-tube angle.

Check out the slightly different geometries of the different Cervelos
http://www.cervelo.com/index2.html

For some reason, the P3 has a "normal" headtube angle in the larger sizes, but the P2 and Dual have a 72.5

Trek also have very detailed geometry charts on their web site

Hmmm, the Treks don't seem to vary that much in geomtery
