Anyone know if any vendors are stocking the "new" style Flite saddles (e.g. not
classic)(or does anyone have any experience with the new ones)
    According to Selle Italia's website ( http://www.selleitalia.com/main.html?lang=en ),
the Flite saddle lineup has changed in a very confusing manner such that the following product that is pictured:

    http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY?PAGE=BUY_PRODUCT_STANDARD&PRODUCT.ID=320&CATEGORY.ID=233&MODE=&TFC=

is now ( unlike it is labelled on the store's site) identified as the Flite Genuine Gel CLASSIC, while a totally new design with an extended convex rear section with oval hole where the logo was and cutaway sides, an narrower profile (130mm vs. 143) is now the Flite Genuine Gel (without the CLASSIC). Similarly there are analogous duplicated classic and non-classic models in the Flite Gel Flow and regular Flite. Why they chose to name things like this rather than just calling them something else, is way beyond me!

Wiggle is normally quick to list new items

Don't ignore the revamped Selle SMP Strike range if you are looking for comfort and style.

Thanks DD, but Wiggle, just has the classic styles. Also thanks for the alternative suggestion, but the rise at the back of the SMP Strike does just the opposite of what I utilize on low gradient climbs, (and is style is not a big consideration for my butt:p )

Yeah, it just seems a rip off for a "new" seat design with a bigger hole.

the sellesmp design is made to sit on the front of the saddle when climbing...

its not for everyone and you are right, they are not the cheapest.
