Approx weight of a Trek 4500?

Haven't been able to find the weight of a basic Trek 41,43 or 4500 hard tail MTN bike.

Anyone have the figures?

So that makes an interesting range of about 45lbs for a WalGoose, at one end to the 3lbs for a
top-of-the-line racing bike! ;-)

Oops, wheel weight is not incl. in that measurement. I just looked at the final number.

Wheel weight? You'd also need the rest of the parts. A set of wheels attached to a frame will not be
a very good ride! <G>

I expect that fixie riders would enjoy it; they ride fixies for the simplicity and the better
road feel...

Even fixies have handlebars, stems, seatposts, saddles, crankes, pedals, chains, and sometimes,
brakes, no? <G>
