yep. mike mowett uses one when he races against recumbents in the superstock class. Not sure where he got it from though. Mike tends to post quite a bit in the wisil discussion group at this site...........maybe you could ask him where he got it.

Zzip Designs makes fairings for uprights as well as for recumbents. Here's the url for the upright fairings:

I should probably add that fairings aren't speed aids on uprights - if the rider is on the drops, fairing the body doesn't accomplish much.

I ride a recumbent, so I have no experience with fairings on uprights. One of my recumbents uses a fairing mounted to the frame with no crosswinds problems. I think mounting one to the handlebars/fork would make you feel crosswinds more, because the winds would try to steer the bike.
