I'm wondering if I must use the computer manufacturer's sensors with that particular computer? Are all wireless sensors capable of being picked up by 'all' computers?
I'm asking because I have been using an iBike power meter (which has been accurate enough for my use) but I have gone thru 2 sets of speed/cadence sensors....one of them seems to just stop working no matter what I do to it. This is the kind with one battery for both sensors...
So a new one is about 50 bucks, but I've noticed that other manufacturers have very similar sensors (so similar that they may be made by the same manufacturer!!) . But will Wahoo's sensor be readable by my iBike Newton?? Or Garmin's?? etc.?
thanks....
