    Atkin's Fromage Burger Atkin's Feta Burgers Ole' Burgers
    Atkin's U. S. Hamburgers

    Atkin's Fromage Burger

    2 lbs. Ground Beef, makes 12 burgers 1 Tbsp. chopped Chives
    3/4 tsp. Tarragon, crushed 2 tsp. Seasoned Salt
    4/4 cup snipped fresh Parsley
    5/4 cup Green Onions, with the green, sliced very thin 1
    small Tomatoes, diced 1 Egg, beaten 6 oz. Cheddar Cheese,
    shredded 3 Tbsp. Butter

    Combine beef, chives, tarragon, salt, parsley, onion,
    tomato, egg and cheese. Mix well. Place 1 pile of equally
    divided cheese mixture in center of 6 patties and top each
    pattie with another pattie. With fingers firmly press edges
    of burgers together all the way around to form a tight seal.
    Grill or broil until meat is done. About 8 minutes or less
    on each side. Keep checking them.

    Serves 6 3.3 carbohydrates per serving

    Atkin's Feta Burgers

    2 Tbsp. Butter 1 lb. Ground Beef
    6/4 lb. crumbled Feta Cheese
    7/4 cup Black Olives, chopped, just buy a small can of
    chopped olives
    8/2 tsp. Seasoned Salt
    9/2 tsp. coarsely ground Black Pepper

    Melt butter in skillet. Mix ingredients together and shape
    into 4 patties. Place burgers in buttered skillet and cook
    slowly with cover on, turning once, after about 8 minutes.

    Serves 2 3.7 carbohydrates per serving

    Ole' Burgers

    2 Tbsp. Butter 1 lb. Ground Beef 6 drops Tobasco Sauce
    10/2 tsp. ground Cumin
    11/2 tsp. Chili Powder 1 tsp. bottled Garlic Melt butter in
    a skillet.

    Mix remainier of ingredients together and shape into 4
    patties. Cook burgers in buttered skillet over low heat
    until done, about 8 minutes on each side. Serves 2

    Atkin's U. S. Hamburgers

    6 strips Lean Bacon 1 ripe Tomato, finely chopped 2 Tbsp.
    Butter 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
    12/2 tsp. Seasoned Salt
    13/4 tsp. Black Pepper

    Fry bacon until crisp, or micro-wave. Drain on paper towels.
    Crumble bacon in bowl. Saute' tomato in bacon fat until
    tender. Add to bacon in bowl. Pour off bacon fat and melt
    butter in same skillet. Combine meat salt and pepper with
    bacon and tomatoes. Shape into 4 patties. Cook burgers in
    buttered skillet on low heat, covered until done. About 8
    minutes per side.

    Serves 2
