Hi
Does anyone have any course profile info etc on the Miners Rest course that is going to be used for the Australian Masters Champs this year?

We have a small group that are keen to pop across and race and then stay for the World Champs.

I can't help you with a profile, but this is the road race circuit;

Miners Rest - Masters Championship Course - Google Maps

From memory there are a few rollers at the north end, nothing hard though. Its very exposed to wind pretty much the whole way around ;)

Nice!

A strong westerly will make it tough, get used to riding down the edge of the road :D What age group are you going to be entering?

Will be Masters 2 (40-45) but still have to sort out the details with the financial controller :)

Main motivator is the World Champs in the week following ... now that should be something great to see!!

If your planning on staying in Geelong during the worlds, you'll need to book accommodation asap. Torquay could be another option, I think its about 15-20KM from the circuit, plenty of accommodation out there.

Also Melbourne is only a 50 Minute drive away, so staying there will also work if you can't find somewhere local.
