In lower end mechanicals which are better?
I am considering the Giant Rainier (w Avid) or Specialized Rockhopper (Shimano). The any opinions on the forks (Axel Elite vs. Judy SL)?

Seems like Avid has a lot of good reviews. The main thing I care about is ease of setup and maintenance.
