Looking for replacement for older Heckler - bit more travel / plusher feel -
have tried various 4 bar - 2005 enduro / 2004 big hit / norco Atomik - all
have plush feel looking for - though each has an issue - either expense or
weight .

noticed sabre on a few sites but real reviews seem limited - would be very
interested in any actual experience - looking to put together - nice trail
bike - suitable for wales n scotlands more extreme XC / non suicide (
cowards ) downhill!

cheers!!

I like anything Azonic, and it tends to be well-made and bomb-proof. A good
rider around here has one, and can negotiate most anything on it. But as we
all know, it's the rider, not the bike. But I would like that bike. The
suspension is obviously proven, the welds, good, the geometry aggressive
"freeride." Hard to go wrong, imo if that's what you want.

Why not get the newer Heckler? Have more travel and an aggressive geometry
compared to the older models.

Hey , I have a craftworks frm125 , very similar to the sabre , but only
£650 , I've ridden this bike since january all over Scotland , inc
Glentress , plus a few downhill races at innerleithen. I've just got
back from a month of riding Whistler bike park / valley trails. It's a
brilliant freeride bike! (probably no heavier than the sabre) for the
money I think it's a great choice over the sabre.
Save yourself £250 and get some nice forks!
