You could try to make your pegs out of the frame, and use the wheel
bearings for that. But this may not be worth it. Unicycle frame/bearing
units aren't made to resist any kind of angular force being applied to
them. In other words, imagine it's a Schwinn. You've cut off the frame
and bent it 90 degrees to make a peg. But when you stand on the pegs,
they just tilt downward because the bearings and the way they attach
have no resistance to that kind of force.
Why kill a unicycle? A BC wheel is a *bicycle* wheel everybody! It's a
*front wheel*. All you need is a plain old (common, cheap) bike axle and
a pair of pegs. The pegs are the only part you have to actually make.
