Hi guys,

Not been cycling since I was about 13, 10 years on and things have changed! Im looking at buying a new bike for fitness reasons. I live out in the country however all the roads are tarmacked to a surprisingly good standard, however there are a good few hills. Not massive gradients but not heaps of flat road. My budget (not including accessories) is about £320. I'm looking to buy my bike from Halfords as i have alot of gift cards ready to use for there given to me from my work. I would be looking at a 21" + frame.

I have been looking at the following

CARRERA SUBWAY HYBRID BIKE - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_810603_langId_-1_categoryId_165534
CARRERA CROSSFIRE 2 HYBRID - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_810719_langId_-1_categoryId_165534

Does anyone have experience with these bikes? Is it even a hybrid that I am looking for? Help me please!

I have no experience with them, being at the lower end of the spectrum, don't expect to much from them. As with any bike, good fit is the key so do some research on approx sizing before buying one. Make sure you have some cash to change items like the stem or seat if required.
