Hi,
A local bike shop solicited me today telling me they have a Balfa Belair with my name on it to
replace my stolen Fisher Mt. Tam. Having never heard of Balfa before, can anyone fill me in on the
Balfa story.
I would like to say I ride mountain trails a lot but I don't. Once or twice a year I might be lucky
enough to venture out into the Shield for some granite runs, or something similar. Hence most of my
riding is urban jungle.
Is the Belair a nice ride that can be tolerated for urban riding, or is that a dumb idea. I went
from three hard tail Fishers (pro-caliber CroMo, pro-caliber Composite, Mt. Tam alum) to this
decision. Maybe I should avoid the Balfa??
Any scoop most appreciated...
