Banana Pound Cake

  1. Banana Pound Cake

    1 pound cake mix
    1 cup mashed bananas
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup chopped nuts (if desired)

    Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Do not follow package directions.
    Combine mix, bananas and eggs, and beat for 3 minutes. Fold in nuts
    if desired. Bake in a 9 inch loaf pan (greased and floured) for 1 1/4
    hours, or until cake is golden brown and springs back lightly
    whentouched on top. Cool for 30 minutes on wire rack (cover with
    towel).
