I recently changed bars to an easton ea70. when i wrapped the bars I found that the supplied plastic plugs where too small(significantly so) to fit in the ends. Ive never really liked the cheap plastic bar plugs that come with tape and wondered if anyone knew of a higher quality solution. Ive found barend marketed towards bmx and mountain biking but they seem to be too large. the part the remains outside the bar is meant to retain a grip i believe. does anyone know of a product marketed for road bikes or had any experience with the bmx/mountain products. thanks
ps. I know about the bontrager vibration cancelling things but dont really like them but may end up having to go in that direction
here is a link to a pretty good sample of whats out there
