BBCi won't lend me a car for a week

  1. I'm very disappointed that BBCi <http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/uk/3093590.stm> are only looking for
    car-users to do carless commutes, and not looking for saints to be seduced by the delights of being
    cooped up in a stationary death greenhouse during the rushless hour.

    to work for:

    a bus a train, or a car pool"

    Apparently cycling is only allowed if

    "You must make the same regular journey to your workplace each day, although a drive or bike ride to
    a station to get your journey under way is acceptable. "

    Of course, I used the form at the base of the page to inquire why cycling isn't one of the main
    swaps for the car. Haven't had a reply.
