  1. I have done the carn mor dearg route up Ben Nevis a number of years ago
starting at the golf course in Fort William. My recollections was that it
was a long day. I am looking at doing it again this summer but wonder if I
could shorten it a little as I also recall passing some parked cars at grid
ref 14827 74986 . Is this a private track, are cars allowed up there? - I
guess it may be owned by Alcan the Aluminum smelters in Fort William? Does
anyone have any local knowledge of the area? Any advice would be
    appreciated. Thanks.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but you can do this via the "North
    Face car park now".
