Hi,

I plan to change my chain in a near future and would welcome advices about which one is the best. I now have a mid-90s Sachs chain over Sachs LY 95 freewheel.

I was looking at a SRAM PC-68 that seems identical to my current Sachs but maybe there's something better out there ?

Regards,

Yanick

Actually if this is a commuter or a trainer bike.. go to walmart, 8.99 for a chain (made by the same company that makes chains for shimano. just 1/2 the price. the last i checked the top of the food chain there is the 7-8 speed chains... this will work for you. If you want a bit of flair .. whipperman stainless or nickle plated.. but you can get at least 3 walmart chains for the same price. ;) NotRyt Cat:3

Basic SRAM is good value. PC58 can be had for under $20. I wouldn't buy a Walmart product just out of principle-regardless of who makes it.
