Tough to answer without knowing your budget and kind of riding. I can say that for me, on a shoestring budget, I recently purchased a set of Velocity Deep Vs, 36 spokes, laced 3X to Shimano 105 hubs. It's nothing fancy, but they seem pretty durable thus far and they were affordable ($350 delivered).
