better bike...3g santa cruz or jamis taxi

Hi,

I've been looking to purchase a new beach cruiser. I'm not a serious biker. I'm 50, a bit overweight and looking for a comfortable bike I can enjoy. I've narrowed my search down to a 3g Santa Cruz or a Jamis Taxi. I've read good things about each. Any recommendation, suggestions, feedback on these bikes would be really helpful.
