I've seen a Bianchi 928 Carbon for sale with Shimano Ultegra components (e.g. wheels, shifters, R/D and F/D) instead of Campagnolo Vento/Veloce.
Are these Shimano components of worse quality than the Campagnolo ones? I am wondering if the bike shop has changed the original components to reduce the price/increase their margin.

Cheers,

Bianchi sells alot of their bikes with choices of campy or shimano components. I love Campy stuff (though I am now riding my first dura ace bike and love it) but I would have to say that I would take an Ultegra bike over a Veloce bike any day. A full Chorus bike would be a different story though.
