I'm posting from rec.bicycles.misc and have the general opinion that dream interpretation is a
crapshoot. Feel free to disagree. Here goes:
In Swedenborg, north symbolizes truth/knowledge in obscurity; by going north, you are seeking truth
in a place where truth is obscure, rather than clearly illuminated. (In contrast, east and west
symbolize charity/goodness, and the south the clear light of truth. Probably reversed if you are
dreaming in the southern hemisphere
And, you have the obvious imagery of heading into the cold

... the environment is cold, and even normal activities and friends (symbolized by the countless
bicycles) are seeming strange. Counterfeit emotions (the other bikes) make it hard to find your own
thoughts (your own bike).
