Do you need one because they're crap and go flat so damn fast when using the GPS while you ride? If not, i'd either charge it overnight or use a USB charger when you get to work.

If I run the GPS on my iPhone 4, but shut off the screen (Wake/Sleep button on top), it will use roughly 50% of the battery in 7 hours of riding.

Rather than add some clunky device to the bike, just get an auxiliary battery pack for the iPhone. There are plenty out there for $20-30.

this could be a mini scam... one guy ask the question and the other posts the web address about it, a web page which incidentally has the screen name of that poster, or just a coincedence that both posters are new and making their first contributions to the forum ? i guess im going to the cinema too often :)

It gets difficult to tell the difference as scammers and spammers get more creative.

By your definition anyone new to this forum and recommending a product is a spammer. I am new to this forum and thought I could contribute by recommending a product I use. I don't know about anything about the thread originator or pedalpower123, but if you feel so strongly, you have an option to report it to the moderators and have them investigate. I certainly do that rather making new members feel unwelcome.

A very apt post GirlCaliRider. I felt that I was making a pertinent response to help Ronen Levi, who I do not know, find equipment that would suit what he wanted.
