Bicycles aren't THAT complicated, but there is enough going on back there that we can't tell you without more information. I suggest bringing the bike to your favorite shop and getting it professionally checked out. It could be anything from bent/worn sprockets to a simple derailleur adjustment.

Odds on that it is just your gear cables stretching and a minor adjustment should sort it.
