  1. I am building a bike and I am looking to attach a bigger chainring to my tripple chainring. The outside diameter needs to be around 7 inches + or - does anyone have any ideas?

  2. I think it would be somewhere around 80 teeth

  3. NP--I had my head my ass when I did the numbers.

  4. sorry I forgot to mention it is for a 8mm 05t chain set up.

An 8mm pitch on a 7" diameter chainring, when calculations are done correctly (unlike my ignorant calculations that were above) gives around 69-70 teeth.
