It's over. Kona belongs to him. He is gonna break the course record by over 15 minutes, possibly even doubling that time. bets?

Very "cool" video. Lance doesn't have to share all this stuff. It's obvious to me he enjoys all the science and sharing his training days with his YouTube fans.

Read today on RBR some details of a training ride last month in Santa Barbara hill country which he recently tweeted to his fans: 115 miles, 6.5 hours, 10K feet of climbing, 5300 KJ, 17.7 mph.

Sweet video. Merckx never had to resort to using an ice vest. Then again, he had other ways to make himself go faster.

Merckx used woollen jerseys in the early part of his career.

certainly showing the influence of a. lim on radioshack's preparations. i think i remember it was lim's research and implementation of this core temperature control that helped f. landis take that monumental stage in the tdf when landis was with phonak. lim then took it to garmin for the time he was with them and i think the results weren't quite as spectacular as with phonak. phonak must have been putting in a greater effort than garmin, i suppose, which would explain the drop off in results from one team to the other.

As reported from alternate Earth, where "doping" is not a word.
