Bike Hire in Sapin

I am heading on holiday to Andalusia for two weeks in early December.
I plan to hire a bike for about 10 days whilst I am out there but both
the hirers tell me I am not covered for an accident that damages the
bike or for theft (I do have my own accident insurance that covers me
for cycling). I am concerned that if the bike I am hiring is stolen or
I fall off and damage it then I might be stuck with a large bill. I
have spent quite a long time talking to insurance companies and
brokers and can't find anyone to insure with for this possibility.
They all say the onus in on the hirer!
So, does anyone know anywhere in UK I can get cover for a hired bike
in Spain for about 10 days.

Don't bother from the UK. Arrange it when you hire the bike locally, Spain is pretty cycle friendly, I've never had a problem in southern Spain or Mallorca.

Just learn the phrase " I would like to rent a bicycle with damage insurance"

Something like "Quisiera alquilar una bicicleta con seguro del daños" should do it.

Theft is Hurto if you want to add that.
