Bike touring gear and equipment list

These may be in your list, but I didn't see them:
  • A half-dozen (or, more) nipples
  • flip-flops or sandals
  • headband and/or kerchief and/or cap
  • sun screen
  • talc
  • toilet paper
  • towelettes
Plus:
  • duct tape
  • bungee cords
Medication for allergies (if applicable) + other First Aid supplies.

Training for a Century Ride This next site is more about training for 100 mile rides, not specifically oriented towards touring but it will help you to be a stronger rider when you do start touring.
