The 2007 Homecoming Parade is this Friday. Every year there is a kid's bicycle section in the parade. They have a theme and if the kids want they can dress up their bikes for the parade theme. This year's theme is around the world. So my niece (8 years old) and I dressed her bike up as the historical train that ran through our little town. It like many other train system played a great part in the making of this country and many of the little towns along its path.

Here's Jessie's bike this year

Nice work!!! Definitively It looks as a train.

Can your niece look over the chimney? it seems a little to tall for the bike size.

Yep, she test rode it with my 3 year old Grandson as the coal engineer in the trailer. :D They will have a blast in the parade. It is a slow ride around town so there isn't much chance of crashing hard. :)

I wanted to get a picture of Jess riding in the parade, but the Color Guard needed another member so I had to march. She had a great time and the train lasted through the whole parade. As soon as she finished the train completely came apart. Whew. At least it lasted as long as it was needed. :D
