  1. Does anyone in Melbourne have the need for a cheap bike or need to repair their own bike but lacks
    the tools and the know-how?

I found this place called CERES that has a bike shed where you can use all their tools, and they
have HEAPS of old bikes. You can go there and fix up an old bike and ride it away for well under
$50. The idea being to get people riding who would not normally bother buying a new bike. Also, they
really appreciate it if you donate old bikes too. It is a volunteer thing, and thus is pretty badly
organised, but I think it's fantastic!

If anyone has any old bikes to donate, wants to help out fixing up bikes, want to learn bike fixing
skills, or just needs a cheap bike to ride around the suburds on, this place is ideal.

The address is: CERES Community Environment Park 8 Lee Street, Brunswick East, Victoria,
    Australia 3057

Located on the Merri Creek bike track. Oh, and they often accept payment in beer and
    goodwill! Cheers!
