B, then "join". You have to subscribe by giving a valid e-
mail address and a subscriber name. Then they e-mail you to
confirm that you are able to read or send messages that
route and make connections with others.
I don't know if there are bladder cancer persons (reading)
on alt.support.cancer (or not). If you post there (or any
newsgroup) it's wise to "munge" your e-mail address or use a
throw-away e-mail address, due to your email being picked up
by spambots. Unless MSN filters out spam for you.
Also beware "quacks" and "loons" who might e-mail you (or
post here) about "quackcures".
If you decide to post to alt.support.cancer, have a look at
the Charter first so you can follow the guidelines as best
