I don't see many bladed seat posts on most of the online shops, so anyone here know of a better deal around town?
By the way, if any of you has had the chance to switch from an aluminium to a carbon seat post, is there any noticeable difference in comfort?
I'm getting quite a banging when I hit the brick round abouts & especially more so since I usually use the inner roads of the housing areas... lots of non tarmac sections.

No, there is no difference, despite what people will tell you. Any post designed to hold your weight, will by neccesity, have zero deflection in the vertical plane. But people will swear that their carbon posts are "comfy" and somehow dissipate vibration. Nonsense, unless you have a suspension post. Comfort on a bike comes from good positioning, proper tyre pressure and selection, and if you develope strength in your quads and abdominals, you will hold yourself better on the bike, instead of just sitting on your butt and placing all your weight there...make sense?
