Blatchford wins special USCF Athlete Trustee election

Michael Blatchford won the special election to elect a new Athlete Trustee to the USCF Board of Trustees. Blatchford won the election with 15 votes over runner-up Colby Pearce and third-place finisher Steve Tilford. Pearce collected 12 votes and Tilford seven. Blatchford will be seated on the USCF Board of Trustees until the position expires in July of 2008 when USA Cycling holds its regularly-scheduled quadrennial election.
