I'm in my early 70's, am healthy, but with moderately elevated blood
pressure when at work (as an RN). I take Atenolol, half a 25 mg.
    tablet
every other day. At home, the BP is low--110/70....at work, it may
soar to 160/100, or higher?. Would I be better off to take the .125
tablet every day and have the at-home BP be on the low side, or
    continue with the
present every other day plan? I take no other meds.

Or, could you recommend a specific hypertension "chat" site?
My MD is excellent, but much too busy to be able to address the finer
points of this question? Anyway, I'm not so sure he'd know the
    "right" answer.

    Thanks,

    Ruth.
