I rarely visit the UK these days. But I've been back in Cheltenham for 2 weeks where I keep a bike - an old Saracen kili flier 2 with Shimano XT odds n ends and a carbon frame - still a very nickable bike.

Cycling around Cotswolds Way etc is all very pleasant. I took the opportunity to visit the Cheltenham Science Festival. The Festival that bangs on about sustainability and the like. So where is the bike park? None. Leave bikes on the street please. Preferably with an indstruction manual in Romanian.

The same at the Cheltenham Lido. More community respecting horseshite about them and the community. But please bring your 4.2 L Jag as your bike will most likely be nicked - no - we don't allow bikes into our 20 acre complex.

Feckin hypocrites.

Nowhere to safely leave bike in businesses that go all out to score PR points on being green/sustainable and that malarkey

PR is public relations, if you are still struggling
