I'm planning a stay near Asheville, NC in June and hoped to get in a couple
of training rides on the Blue Ridge Parkway while there. Could someone
recommend a desirable section to ride for a 50-60 mile ride?

My favorite sections are south of Asheville down to Cherokee. The road
isn't quite as wide but there is less traffic and the views are good.Of course, you are close to the highest spot on the East coast, mt.
Mitchell. Just ride north about 309 miles on the Blue Ride Park and you
will see signs for the park. It isn't a tough ride, a lot easier than
climbing Mt. Washington, and there is a restaurant to stop for coffee
or lunch. -
That's 30 miles not 309 miles.
