I suspect that well meaning idiots who feel the end justifies the means,
and have deluded themselves that their "common sense" view of the end
must surely happen despite much evidence to the contrary, have wrung
their hands inna think-of-the-children stylee and succeeded in getting
people who should know better to switch their brains off.
