I just found the website, those of you who are listed as a
redemption site, do you get much traffic from the website?
Is it worth the work, and 85%?
Thanks Michele, CMT

I'm not sure what you mean by "Is it worth the work" since
you sign up only once (unless you mean mailing it in), but
the Gift certificate's 85% doesn't mean that's all you can
earn from a massage. For example, if a client brings in a
$50 gift certificate and your charge for the session is $60,
the client pays the difference. So, yes you "lose" 15% but
potentially gain a new client. As for the
traffic....sometimes it's ok (around holidays), sometimes
it's nothing - but since it's free it's definitely worth it.
The thing you have to consider is whether or not you want to
be able to offer gift certificates online. It's a great way
for people to purchase them but I found it works best on my
own site. To see what I mean, check out my site at
massagebyben.vze.commassagebyben.vze.comOpen ↗ I pay nothing for hosting,
nothing for updates that I do myself, and nothing for an
online merchant account since I use PayPal to process the
online transaction (they charge a
% of each transaction). I get a lot more gift certificate
% sales off of my
own site than from any other source.
