Yep, it's 8mm alright. Get an extra-long Allen wrench, or 8mm Allen-head socket so you can give it
some torque. (Allen-head socket will be required if you're using a torque wrench, which is
preferable.)

Of course, I have a ht setup with Shimano one-key release bolts, which in that case it'd be a 5mm.
But most everything we're gonna wrench on are 8mm.

I don't think you need to worry about this, since you knew already it was
8mm.
