I purchased a Node 1 about four weeks ago. 1 week into using the computer i had to replace the battery. battery replaced, three days later it dies again. Brought it back to my LBS and had them replace the unit. The second unit died after 1 week of use.
E-mailed bontrager directly and they explained that there is a problem with the first production of these computers. going back today to see if i can get the problem resolved.
anyone else have this experience?
Returned the Node 1. The bike store had a few more returned as well. They replaced it with a Node 2! Pretty pumped, used the heart rate strap last night. Cool feature with the alt. Very Happy!
Just wondering how many of you carry a gun as part of your cycling equipment? Here in Arizona we can legally carry open and concealed (concealed with permit).
For long distance touring and bicycle camping... I think I'd feel safer carrying my .45 semi-auto pistol (concealed so it doesn't freak people out).
Anyone else carry while biking?
