between the bontrager select, supergo brand korso, and the xero-lite xr1 wheels, which is a better wheel. they are all around the same price, so I was wondering which one is the best for their level. I'm about 140pounds so weight isn't really a problem.

Definitely the Xero-Lite XR1's. I have trained on these frequently at a bodyweight of around 180 pounds and have used them for criteriums as well. They have stayed in true generally (have needed truing a couple of times) and survived a 35mph crash. I am a Category II racer and I have not noticed undue flex, although they are not as stiff as my Campagnolo Eurus wheels.
