I actually bought that book not too long ago. <br /><br />Some sections are useful, and others which go way, way, way over my head, and a bit too technical than whats required for most people. <br /><br />For a coach or someone with a Phd in physical sciences it might be more of an appropriate read! ;)
 
Try the book 'road racing' from the IOC's range of books... very good, high tech yet easy to read.
 
Any thoughts on Carmicheal's "The Ultimate Ride" ? I just bought it. It seems pretty good but then again, i'm sitll pretty new to cycling.

it's pretty good. many people will find it too complex though.
