Boron Fibre is just like carbon fibre, but it uses woven Boron fibres insread of carbon fibres, held together with an epoxy matrix. Boron is an element similar to carbon.
you can make fibre composites from lots of diffrent fibres- fibreglass "white carbon"- carbon, boron, kevlar, or even mixes of the above.
Last I checked Boron was slightly denser and weaker than CF, but may be stiffer. It has been used in rocket nozzles and other high tech applications.
