Boroondara's got bike lane fever!

On my usual commute home through the suburbs with such exotic names as 'Kew' and 'North Balwyn' when I turn down Greythorn Rd to find, lo and behold, bike lanes where there were no bike lanes before!!

Felt very proud for that couple of hundred metres before I turned off!

Now on the lookout for where else they'll be popping up!

(Im hoping that 'they' have done a decent job and dreading that they have done the usual job. They never consult with BBUG. grrrrrrr)

It's only been 'sketched' in so far... but from the little I saw seemed ok - but then Greythorn Rd is one of those that was wide enough to take a lane without too much stress.
