I recently bought a slightly used specialized E5 frame and in the bottom bracket there's a black rubber thing in there. I have a new ultegra bottom bracket so i need to know how to remove that thing. I have no idea what it is... it's a soft black rubber thing that looks like it has threads but i can't get it out by turning it. Does anyone know what it is and how to remove it?
