Don't know if there is a better place to post this question. I recently pulled my Bianchi Nuovo Alloro out of the corner of the garage and rode it. Several pretty knowledgable people spotted it and were pretty impressed. Everything on it is original with the exception of Celeste Green clip in pedals and new tires. Even the original handlebar tape is in excellent condition, pump too - the seat slightly less so. I rode it a lot in the early eigthies when I bought it, and even brought it to Scandanavia for a year. These guys said I should take care of it because it's pretty valuable to clloectors. So, who are the collectors? and is it really that valuable? If so, what might that value be?

The sort of people who would go after that would be Bianchi or retro bike fans.The bike would probably not sell for as much as you paid for it unless it was unusual and unique in some way.The way bike technology is moving on, older bikes tend to devalue very quickly and most cyclists would rather spend their cash on the latest carbon fibre than an old classic.That is unfortunate and devalues older bikes.I don't know of any auctions or websites that cater for classic stuff unfortunately.
