Four cyclists are killed in crash
Four cyclists have been killed and another eight people injured after an
accident with a car in north Wales.

North Wales Police said the four were pronounced dead at the scene after
a Toyota Corolla was in collision with a group of adults and children.

Eight other people have been taken to hospital with injuries varying
from serious to slight.

The accident was at 1010 GMT on Sunday on the A547 at Abergele. The car
driver is among those in hospital.

Police said the accident happened when the Toyota heading towards Towyn
was in collision with the group.

The eight injured people were taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd near Rhyl. The
air ambulance attended along with other emergency services.

The accident scene is near the junction with Gors Road and police said
both roads were closed while investigations are carried out.

I don't know anything more apart from the Radio 4 report and the BBC
website, but it sounds just like the sort of run my club were doing this

Utterly tragic. Except... we cannot keep calling motor accidents 'tragic'
