Hi all, My boss has just bought a new Bronx Cycles bike. It's the Vintage. As a road racer, i've had great fun dashing around on it in the car park. I should put a basket on my TT bike. It can hold several water bottles!
Back on topic, it has got a black plastic thing covering over part of the rear derailer which keeps half falling off. Is this just to protect it during transit or should it stay on? She's asked me about it, being the office pedal head, but I'm really not sure as this is not my useal type of bike. Ta, N

It sounds like the push-on protection bit just for transit. Anything meant to stay on shouldn't half fall-off! A clue is if everything still works normally whilst this thing is half-off.

It's packing.
I've got one on my Revolution, which came through the post.
