The bad winter weather had me so bored not being on the bike as much as I would like, that I bought a project bike. It is a Burley Duet Tandem. It was cheap enough and I thought it would be fun to ride with my wife this spring. I pulled it completely down for a rebuild and an really confused by the derailleur cable routing. They enter the down tube and run internally, but appear to have absolutely no guides inside the tube. They run all the way inside to where they exit by the rear bottom bracket and still have no guides there.Is this normal or am I missing something? I've never seen a setup like this before.
