Just wondered how I should approach buying from someone advertising here. I see the guy has what looks like a business: BIKEX DIRECT LIMITED. His username is rodrig13 I'm interested in one of the rides he's selling, but since he's only been a member of the forum for a week or two I'm not sure if his business is legitimate. Of course I'm a newbie too, but I just want to know where my money's going and if I'll get the bike I order. I appreciate any comments or advice. Thanks

Well, on the one hand he's only been here a week. On the other, the stuff he's offering is esoteric enough to give indication that he actually has it. The customary pattern is a list of too much stuff that everyone wants at improbable prices. And a physical address in Indonesia, or no address at all.

Ask lots of questions, be cautious, and don't be afraid to say no if something doesn't add up.
