Hi
I'm not extremly new to cycling, I used to ride 3 miles to and from school for 2 years in Florida, but now I moved to New York and traffic is much different here. I've decided to get a helmet to protect the car I'm gonna hit.
My new bike path will be about 10 miles long:

I've decided to get a Giro Pneumo from Jenson USA (same place I bought my wellgo pedals.)
-If there's a better option than a $105 pneumo '04, please let me know
I'm still not sure about gloves. I'd rather get it from jensonusa.com because i'll probably get free shipping. I prefer half finger because my fingers will probably breathe easier, but I'm new to cycling attire and if full fingers can breathe as easily, then i'll take your word for it. The two models at half finger are:
GARNEAU REX GLOVE

GARNEAU X-GEL GLOVE

This is their entire glove section

I'm also thinking about getting wind breaking eyewear. I do about 30-35MPH if the road allows me. Is this highly recommended, slightly, or just barely?
Also, what's a good water pack? i already have a backpack with a water pack slot.
Thanks from NYC
